My Hitlist
To produce a list of targets, I went to bubo.org and got hold of a combined BOU list. This is basically the BOU list of British birds, sorted in order of how many twitchers have them on their life lists, from Mute Swan to Wilson's Warbler.
This, then, is a list of birds in order not of population, but rather ease of seeing.
