Wheatears
An early (for me) walk on Ainsdale dunes rustled up four Wheatears, Willow Warblers, and some Whitethroats.
Some Whitethroat photos taken in the area where a Lesser Whitethroat later took up residence seem inconclusive to me.
There was a Grasshopper Warbler reeling away on the NNR but only glimpsed at distance. Recordings were made, but they suffer from compression so the spectrograms look a mess.
That said, here’s a Gropper:
And here’s a cacophony of Gropper, Whitethroat and Black-headed Gulls.
