I’ve been lurking around the back of the Discovery Centre for days now with no luck. Today’s consolation prize was a sighting of the Caspian Gull that has been around for some months, now minus a leg but seemingly coping fine.

Flocks of waders in flight included Oystercatchers and some medium and small ones. I need to get better at this, but let’s say Knot and Sanderling?
