In horrible weather, I didn’t go birdwatching, but having missed out on my birdwatching challenge earlier in the week, I thought I’d claim my year tick for Pied Wagtail on the path though St Paul’s Square in Southport.

An Oystercatcher on the Weld Road roundabout was nice too.
